For Extreme E event branding we had to think differently to the usual motorsport branding.
We can’t plaster branding everywhere as we want to let the landscapes of the incredible locations speak for themselves and we need to find branding solutions that can be transported easily from location to location onboard the St Helena.
Our main elements are the start gantry and the podium. Both of these needed to allow for sponsor presence but we wanted to keep it in keeping with the brand. We went through many stages of development before landing on the results we have that fit into the confines of the containers while still giving us the impact needed.
We developed the podium as the first season went on, always insuring to use sustainable materials.
We needed to present a large amount of information in a digestable and visally appealing manner. I wanted to make sure the document had a clean feel echoing the subject matter.
